The Opportunity

Now, we’re excited to bring our unique designs to the U.S. market, starting with New York City. That’s why you’re reading this job offer. We’re seeking our first American team member—the person who will become the face and voice of Lambert on social media in the U.S. market. You will be responsible for bringing our new U.S.-focused Instagram and TikTok accounts to life daily, working closely with our marketing team back in Canada.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for an ambitious, fashion-forward individual in their late twenties or early thirties who lives in New York City and can authentically represent our brand. Our ideal candidate has always dreamed of launching their own fashion brand but chose to channel that passion into a career in marketing and content creation. They are already sharing their life on social media through short-form videos and stories, and they have built a small yet highly engaged community.

Role & Responsibilities

As Lambert’s Content Creator in the U.S., you will be the face and voice of our brand on social media, playing a pivotal role in building our audience and market presence from the ground up. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content on the daily tailored to a U.S. audience, with the goal of driving demand for Lambert’s products. You will document and share the journey of expanding Lambert in the U.S., with the storyline centered around you as the one launching the brand in this new market. By capturing behind-the-scenes moments, challenges, successes, and the overall experience, you will forge a strong connection with our audience, making them part of Lambert’s growth story.

Our approach is deeply inspired by the creator-founder business model, which we are excited to recreate in the U.S. market by partnering with someone from New York City. This role offers a unique opportunity to be an intrapreneur, allowing you to treat the brand as if it were your own. You will have the creative freedom and responsibility to shape Lambert’s presence in the U.S. market, taking initiative and driving growth. You will work in collaboration with Lambert’s marketing team back in Canada who will provide operational support. Additionally, you will also be taking on additional marketing responsibilities as needed to fuel growth in this new market.

Your performance will be measured by growth in audience size on social media but most importantly by the growth of the business.

As a Content Creator,

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Brand Ambassador: Act as the face and voice of the brand in the U.S. market.
  • Market Growth: Lead marketing efforts to expand Lambert’s presence in the U.S.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate on refining and executing a social media content strategy, improving it over time based on performance and insights.
  • Content Ideation: Generate creative ideas for short-form videos and other social media content.
  • Content Pre-Production: Plan and organize all aspects of video shoots.
  • Content Production: Direct content production while also being featured as the main character.
  • Content Post-Production: Oversee the editing process and provide feedback to the video editor.
  • Social Media Management: Maintain a content calendar and publish content daily.
  • Community Management: Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages, and managing community interactions.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Creator Collaboration: Manage outreach and collaborations with social media creators.
  • Public Relations: Participate in media interviews and collaborate closely with our internal PR department.
  • Event Coordination & Coverage: Collaborate on the organization of pop-up events, and create content during these events.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media and eCommerce KPIs and produce performance reports.
  • Product Development: Provide insights and contribute to product development.
  • Additional Marketing Responsibilities: Take on other marketing tasks as needed to support Lambert’s growth in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in marketing, communications, filmmaking, or relevant experience is a plus.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in an agency, marketing, or content creation role.
  • Language Proficiency: Perfect written and spoken English; French is a plus.
  • Content Creation Expertise: Proven skills in creating engaging short-form social media video content.
  • Creativity: Highly creative with a strong aptitude for generating new ideas and innovative solutions.
  • Passion for the Creator Economy: Deep understanding and enthusiasm for the creator economy.
  • Business Growth Mindset: Ability to identify and leverage opportunities for brand building and business growth through social media.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks with high quality and efficiency.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with social media platforms, analytics tools, cameras, lighting, and video editing software.
  • Time Management: Excellent at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects from start to completion.
